CUSTOM  GARMENTS

CUSTOM GARMENTS MADE TO ORDER · COME WITH A VISION,

WE WILL BRING IT TO LIFE

If you can’t find it, make it.

Some pieces do not exist until you build them.

That is what custom clothing is for. The jacket you keep picturing but can never find. The pants that fit exactly how you want. The set for a shoot, event, performance, or personal moment. The piece that starts as a sketch, a fabric, a reference photo, or an idea you have had sitting in your head for too long.

At 2fifty Clothing, we turn those ideas into real garments. Every custom piece is cut, sewn, fitted, and finished in-house in Brooklyn. No factory process. No mass production. No generic fit.

You bring the direction. We help shape it, build it, and make it wearable.

Your piece can start from anywhere.

You do not need a perfect design file or technical sketch to start. Some clients come with a full concept. Some bring a favorite garment. Some need help turning an idea into a pattern, sample, or finished piece.

That is enough to begin.

Original Custom Piece

For something made completely from scratch. We help develop the shape, fit, fabric direction, details, and construction so the final garment feels like it was built for you.

Recreate or Rework a Favorite

For the piece you wish you could buy again. We can use an existing garment as the starting point and adjust the fit, length, fabric, silhouette, or details to make a new version.

Samples & Patternmaking

For designers, brands, and creatives who need help turning an idea into a real garment. We can help with pattern development, first samples, fit adjustments, construction details, and small-batch direction before moving into final pieces.

Our process: from start to finish.

Custom clothing is personal, but it still needs a process. The best pieces come from slowing down at the beginning — understanding the idea, the body, the fabric, the fit, and the reason behind the garment before anything gets cut.

You do not need to show up with everything figured out. Bring the sketch, the screenshot, the fabric, the old garment, the mood, or the rough idea. We will help shape it into something that can actually be made and worn.

01        Consultation

Every custom piece starts somewhere. It can be a reference photo, a sketch, a favorite garment, a fabric you have been saving, or an idea you cannot find anywhere else.

We talk through what you want the piece to be, how you want it to feel, and where you see yourself wearing it.

 02       Shape the Design

This is where the idea gets cleaned up.

We look at silhouette, fit, fabric, construction, details, timeline, and budget. We help you figure out what makes sense, what needs to change, and what will make the garment stronger.

The goal is to turn the idea into a clear direction before the project officially starts.

03        Quote Approval and Deposit

Once the direction is clear, we provide a quote based on the design, materials, pattern work, fittings, construction time, complexity, and timeline.

After the quote is approved, a deposit is collected to reserve the project and begin the work. This allows us to move into patterning, sourcing, sampling, or production with a clear scope and commitment from both sides.

04        Measurements,  Pattern & Fit Check

For many custom garments, we create a sample first so the proportions, movement, and fit can be adjusted before the final fabric is cut.

05        Cut, Sew & Final Review

The garment is cut, sewn, finished, and reviewed in-house. If any final adjustment is needed, we address it so the piece feels wearable, intentional, and fully yours.

What we make

We specialize in hands-on garment work that is difficult to find off the rack: one-of-one pieces, denim and leather work, alterations, repairs, samples, and pattern development.

Custom Garments

Jackets, pants, shirts, statement pieces, and original designs made around your body, your references, and your style.

Denim, Leather & Repairs

Specialty construction, fit adjustments, repairs, rebuilds, and custom work using durable materials that deserve proper attention.

Samples & Patternmaking

Support for designers who need pattern development, first samples, production pieces, or help turning an idea into something wearable.

How custom work happens here

Good custom clothing is not rushed. We take the time to understand the project, measure properly, sample when needed, and refine the fit before final construction.

01

Consultation

We talk through the garment, references, fabric, fit, purpose, timeline, and budget so the project starts with clear direction.

02

Measurements in studio or at your home

Measurements can be taken in our Brooklyn studio or at your location when the project calls for it. The goal is a fit that works in real life, not just on paper.

03

Quote and project approval

After reviewing the details, we provide a quote based on construction time, materials, fittings, sampling, and complexity. Once approved, we move into production.

04

Sample or muslin fitting

For many custom garments, we create a sample first so the proportions, movement, and fit can be adjusted before the final fabric is cut.

05

Final construction and finishing

Your garment is cut, sewn, finished, and reviewed in-house with care for fit, durability, and the details that make the piece feel complete.
